When man’s survival ie good health, food and security on the planet is taken care of and there’s no threat to his existence, a fundamental longing to know himself, his place in the world, his purpose and the true nature of reality grows deep inside. He asks himself who am I? What is my purpose here? What is the true nature of reality?
In regards to the true nature of reality there are three common views of the world that man has held over the last centuries. The first view being the hindu view of the world as a drama, a play. In this view of the world, existence is viewed as a play or a drama in which the Godhead or the Brahman is both the actor and the audience in the play. He subdivided himself and becomes all of the different beings (atman) and things in it and forgets he’s all those different things creating a maya (illusion).
The second view of the world is the western view of the world mostly inspired by the abrahamic religions of islam, christianity and judaism. In this view of the world, existence is viewd as an artifact, it is made or created just as a potter makes a pot or a carpenter makes a chair. God being the potter or carpenter and his creation being the artifact.
The third view of the world is the chinese view of the world, in this existence is viewed as being organic, it is viewed as an organism happening by itself, that which happens of itself so. In this view there is no controller everything happens of itself, the dao flows by itself in all directions.
Focusing on the Hindu view of the world as a drama, the Godhead or the Brahman involves himself in a play and forgets it’s a play just like the best actors on stage will have the audience completely absorbed in the play forgetting it’s just a play, sitting on the edges of their seats in fear and horror due to the events on stage. The Godhead wears different masks and pretends to be different concealing his true identity, ten thousand things one suchness. The mask being the ego or the false image of ourselves that is not ourselves we assume, forgeting that every human being is you as much as you are them, we are one being playing the game of being diffent I’s.
Every inside has an outside and every outside has an inside, the inside being the esoteric, the unseen, the implicit and the outside being the exoteric, the seen, the explicit. Man and his external environment are explicitly different as different could be and yet implicitly they go together, they are one. This is the hidden metaphysical conspirancy.
The external environment being just an extension of man's own physical body. Man is not an isolated ego inside a bag of skin rather he’s an happening, he’s one with his external envinroment and goes together with it. What man breaths out the trees breath in and what the trees breath out man breaths in. We do not come into the world rather we grow out of this planet just like the apples grow from an apple tree and the mangoes from the mango tree.
When man realises and feels his true original nature he stops feeling like a strange in a world he never made, he feels and experiences everything as part of himself hence loving and caring for everything because everything is himself. He stops pushing nature around because he realises by pushing and beating nature into submition he’s also pushing and hurting
himself hence living a life full of love, peace, bliss and harmony with everything, this is man’s birth right.
